Foundation Founder/Executive Director

As a parent of a child living with autism in the state of Nevada, Lynda has come into contact with many families over the years, including her own, that have experienced first hand the huge gaps in services delivered to their children on the autism spectrum, due to lack of financial resources. She has also had the opportunity of testifying as a parent in front of the Nevada State Legislature in 2007 (click here for testimony) to help receive more autism services funding and also was involved with the process as a parent and advocate for the Autism Insurance Bill AB162 (more about AB162) which passed in 2009. In addition, she currently serves as Co-chair for the Early Intervention Sub-Committee for the Commission on Autism Spectrum Disorders for the state of Nevada, serves on the Autism Coalition of Nevada Board of Directors, the Las Vegas Autism Network Board of Directors, and the UNLV Hotel Alumni Board of Directors as well. Together, these experiences helped shape the Foundation’s mission and purpose!
